Dr. Yue Zhuo

My research focus is the theoretical, computational and experimental study of novel photonic materials and structures, including photonic crystals, plasmonics, metamaterials and 2D materials. I am also interested in the corresponding applications in healthcare, life sciences, renewable energy and environmental monitoring. Special topics of the recent interests include

• Label-free sensing and imaging
• Cellular and molecular adhesion biophysics
• Quantitative biosensing and bioimaging with PET/MRI using advanced modeling and deep learning
